Hi! Welcome to The Homemade Child!
My name is Mary Hope McGehee, and I'm the creator and owner of The Homemade Child.
After getting a degree in Elementary Education, I took a leap of faith to become a stay-at-home mother. My passion for teaching only grew as I discovered alternative methods of home education and family connection. With this new found passion, I have become driven to share with all parents, working or stay-at-home, ways we support our children's development.
My dream is to help parents thrive during this child-rearing season as they nurture their children's interests and help them grow into well-rounded individuals.
